Gardens at 228 Washington Ave

Happy to share some pictures and design efforts for our gardens at 228 Washington Ave, the design was a team effort by tenants and owner – instrumental were Anna, Dubravka and Andy.

Goal was to create a place to relax in middle of busy street corner, and also incorporate compost, trash and bicycle storage. The original look was very stark with knee walls at entrance. Another goal was to use left over material from our renovations, as well items found on the street. Besides some plants and a tree nothing was purchased, even the tomato plants grew from compost piles.
